So we're a few games in and the squad are getting to know each other. Luton seem shaky, Wimbledon potentially punching above their weight. Other threats from the likes of Newport and Tamworth *cough*, but plenty of sides failing to deliver (Grimsby, Darlington, Cambridge, York etc).

So is this our year?

If we are in the top 3 come christmas I can see us splashing more cash and buying are way to the title!

We just need to keep picking up points on the road and making the most of home games and picking up 3 points as much as possible, fortress broadfield!

come on crawley!

We're playing pretty well and winning. It's important we do this against the sides we have been playing. I know you can only play what's in front of you but the real test will be against the likes of Wimbledon and Luton. Of the 'bigger' teams that we've played - Grimsby and Cambridge - we've only picked up a point.

I'm not putting a downer on the situation but it's crucial we keep winning against the weaker teams and get what we can against the rest. It means that a game like Saturday with Gateshead at home is already must-win.
