Good for Mithun, in the brief glimpses I have seen he looks a decent player with a bit of pace.

Great shame about Douglas, I really liked him, would always run at players and gave 100% every chance he had. I can see why they have released him though. All the best Anton!

..and skill, lovely little tricks and drag-backs - needs to study Jamie Cook very closely as they look to me similar-style players.

A tad surprised about Douglas - he clearly wasn't the finished article and seemed to lack build/strength more than ability; and as time wore on, when he rarely seemed to apppear, his confidence seemed to have declined.
With time, and the right coaching and attitude both will come. Good luck to him.

I'm very suprised that he was released. I thought he was good, And showed that he had alot more to give. I think its a shame.

Suprised also we have kept Mits, Got to give him credit he tries hard but I don't think he will cut it in the conference.

Sorry to see him go. Don't think he was really given the chance to prove himself which is a shame. Good luck in the future, Anton.

Neither have I! I've seen some tricks during half time though.

Never really saw anything of Douglas either. I can't him remember ever touching the ball when he came on. Maybe that alone says something. He seemed to have pace though.

Good luck to him.

Rankin must surely go too. I think he time at Crawley probably sums up his whole career.

If you have a spare afternoon, go and have a look at the youth play. In the couple of games I've seen, Nayee has looked as impressive as Danny Mills. I guess Evans prefers Mills for 1sts bench duty at the moment because his bigger build should make it easier for him to adjust to adult football.
