From Alain

Match has been called off - will not be played on Sunday - most likely date is now Wednesday as Histon are playing Swansea on Tuesday. Once we have confirmation as to when it will be played we will let you know about coach travel arrangements.

edit - sorry - jump the gun a bit, Alain was told about the pitch inspection after this posting - however, the supporters coach has been cancelled for tomorrow.

Admin edit: Subject title amended

I'm sure the information you have posted is right but both official sites are stating there's a pitch inspection at 4pm.

Edit: And the story on the our site has appeared since the opening post in this thread was made.

If you're looking for a match to attend this weekend, providing it is not weather-affected....

Farnboro v Stevenage might be worth a visit

So the forecasters say..but hey who can believe them.Even if it was to get warmer the pitch will still be bone hard going to take alot more than the mercury rising a few degrees for two weeks worth of frost to start thawing Sad

Difficult to see any other outcome than the match being postponed. The article suggests that the pitch is already frozen, hence the 4pm inspection. Even if they were to deem it playable this afternoon, temperatures are scheduled to drop to -5 overnight which will just put it back where we started.
