Anyone used that garage in Spindle Way, Webber Motors? Looking for somewhere handy to town, but reliable.

I have used them a few times and they have always been very good and friendly. Thanks for the reminder too, my car needs a service! See you there!

Is this a blatant attempt at an advert, if ever I saw one?

Is this allowed?

Rolling Eyes

Wouldn't have been much of an advert if everyone came back and said they were crap, would it! They are nothing to do with me. I was just asking a question if thats OK with you.

And even if it WAS an attempt at advertising, you'd never use this forum to advertise events, would you Wink

Maybe events run by voluntary groups but not a private company.

it beggers belief doesn't it

Personally I have no problems with a forum used by local people recomending goods and services that they have been pleased with, it might in the long term improve services, unfortunatly I'm no longer that local, but like I said B&W collect from my workplace as far away as Redhill. which is dead handy as they know the vehicvle and I dont have to do it on my week day off, which I only get 2 of a month.

The Gossops green barbers used to be good Wink

I seem to remember one of the motor mechanic owners in Spindle Way being in court for firearm-type offences. If it is Webber motors - is this a 'right and proper' person to be servicing Reds fans vehicles?

It was a mechanic in Stephenson Way........not that I had ever used him which enabled me to recognise his photo when it appeared in the paper.

Even though you've got the wrong person, does this not constitute double standards?

I seem to remember that Steve Evans pleaded guilty to Tax Evasion offences and was banned from football for 20 odd months for cheating his way to the Conference title.

Is this a 'right and proper' person to be managing Crawley Town football Club?

Wink

Exactly the point I was making re: the standards between car servicing and football club managing - where do we draw the line?
