I asked the bar staff before the Greys game and they said the Redz bar will be showing the game.

And also the Downsman in Southgate which has a cheerfull and relaxed atmosphere and as an added bonus, the price of a pint is in line with most other watering establishments trading in 2008.

Most people know of a pub or have a mate with the required TV facility.

So why would anyone want to stand on a cold Sunday night paying to watch it.

Even running the coach for nothing will not get many takers.

I honestly cannot see any good in this sort of set up.

My guess at attendance 350.

Confused

It's called supporting your team Tony. Not every one can do it because of the ridiculous timing but give me a live game (being there) against a televised game any day.

That's insane. FGR's last home crowd was over 2,000.

And our crowd for Morecambe was well above the average for that season when the Sky TV cameras came down.

You're clearly talking nonsense.

Besides which the 'set-up' is to outwardly promote the non-league game. Surely there's some good in that?

As someone who couldn't make this game be it on Saturday or at the revised Sunday time I'm very happy it's on Sentanta. I get to watch my team play when I wouldn't have been able to see it before.

I'd much prefer to be there but hey! In front of the telly with a beer is not a bad choice.
