The Young Player of the Season results are based on the same results as the Player of the Season, but to qualify the player has to be 23 or under at the beginning of the season.

Enzio Boldewijn is the CTFC.net Young Player of the Season for 2016/17.

On his way to winning the award he was named the CTFC.net Man of the Match three times and the Player of the Month once.

He follows previous winners, Gwion Edwards (2015/16), Sonny Bradley (2014/15) Joe Walsh (2013/14), Mark Connolly (2012/13) and Charlie Wassmer (2011/12).

The full results for the season read:

Charlie Wassmer, well there's a talent who I thought was destined for better things. Evans said Wassmer made the best debut he'd seen and all looked good.
That header at Tamworth, that goal at Eastbourne Utd one evening when he seemed to walk through and score, Tubbsesque style, but Morecambe was never far away, sadly.
