I give so little of a toss I won't be going - and I live in Hove.
These matches just frustrate the hell out of me. |
Hove, actually. |
Royal Hove, actually. |

Nobody throw any stones until I blow this whistle - even if someone does say 'Je-Hove-Ah'. |

Well I am going and I live in the better half of Hove....Portslade. I assume that although we had to wait for the date to be announced it was chosen to suit our needs because I assume that if it was arranged after May 6 and the last game of the season, that we would had a problem raising a full squad to pick from. Ideally May bank holiday would have been the correct date whether or not it's the 1st or 8th but that was not going to happen |

It's certainly annoyed Crawley Down Gatwick and Newhaven, who were due to contest the RUR Cup Final- albeit at a different venue- and are now having their match rescheduled as the men in suits can't be in two places at once. The problem for clubs like that is that their final is tha last possible match of their season and their players book work commitments, holidays etc around the season finishing as promised.
So it's not just Crawley fans who cant get to the Amex on a midweek evening who have something to moan about. |

Typical FA type stuff. Couldn't run a bath despite the size of the committee. |

Indeed. They didn't even tell CDG or Haven prior to making the announcement. |

That's correct no car parking at the ground - it's park and ride generally for home matches but as its the SS cup it may be different
Fortunately we can park coaches at the stadium but they have to be booked in a week before the game. |

The white elephant stadium at falmer village is a horrible place to get to/from. Be enough parking for anyone suited booted and with sx fa tie on. |

Trains and buses both stop there, and there is always Shanks's pony for the energetic.

Who are you playing?
Haven't been to a SSC final in years, I might make an effort for that one. |
