Full respect and praise for him, he got his 20th goal of the season yesterday, ( quite a milestone ) v Orient and has been immense this season.

Thank you Mr Collins and I sincerely hope to see you in a Crawley shirt for many years to come.

Player of the season in my view !

salut

Should ensure a decent 100k fee for him this summer.

Happy to be corrected but I think he signed a 3 year deal in the summer. Chances are we will get another season out of him but will only stay beyond that if we clearly demonstrating progress.

Think we will get offers sell him and keep Murphey. I think Murphey is a better front man imo and loseing Collins wage plus transfer fee allows us to sign Murphey plus another decent league two player. Harrold should be shownthe door also and a decent second option brought in.

Dont get me wrong Collins has been good for us and probably his goals have saved us drom a relegation battle but he is an asset with a good value plus lives down here in hotel away from his young family.

So you would rather get rid of someone that has scored 20 goals and keep someone who has scored 1. Yeh brilliant logic.

Selling on the assets at every opportunity is the reason why we are in this mess to start with. If this vision of us being in the championship in ten years is to even come close, even a promotion of any sorts, you don't go selling your top goalscorer.

After the pig of a season we have had, it will go down like a lead balloon with fans if he is sold. As you said '' his goals have saved us from a relegation battle''. Going from previous sales of players, little or none is spent on a decent replacement. Finding another 20 goal a season player will cost, which defeats the whole point of selling collins for cash in the first place.

If dover can hold onto the likes of ricky miller this season and barnet have continued to hold onto akinde, why can't we hold onto collins. neither of the aforementioned clubs are rolling in cash either.

He is also on another 2 years contract so we don't need to sell at all - if someone offers stupid money then consider it - Pompey, AFC Wombles and Luton are rumoured to be interested

Player of the season easily, not just for his goals, but his work rate up front and consistency of performance.

It's between him and Morris, we are very fortunate to have two inspired specialists in place for such pivotal roles.

My point is I am fairly sure there will be offers and unless Erin has seen enough in DD to provide more funds , I think we will sell because it creates the opportunity to bring two players in by moving Collins on for a fee.

I think Murphey given 38 games would have a similar record to Collins who actually has 20 goals including 7 penalties. Murphey appears to have more skill and technique in general play also.

i wouldnt worry about AFCW they can't afford a pot to *beep* in and if the rumours are true their supposed new ground is going to be a lcommunity centre with a skate park as they can't afford their share of the new ground
