Is now manager at Newport

Made for each other - obnoxious manager of an obnoxious team.

I hope Mr Westley does well there.
Not the most popular manager, but Newport are a great club.Their fans deserve a bit of success after flirting with relegation back to non league football.

Good luck Exciles.

Twisted irony is that his last gig had Posh playing in a free-flowing style wherein they scored and conceded loads of goals... and it backfired spectacularly on him.

Very Happy

We haven't been in contact for a while, but I think everyone knows I like the guy, have to really, he was supportive of me and the club at a time when it was really valued... just as well for both of us that it wasn't a popularity contest.

Any more reasons to dislike Newport?

No doubt those Horrible Welsh Inbreds will get their money's worth from watching 110 minutes of football every game.

Westley will have those sheep molesting fans queuing at their Doctors surgeries with prolonged neck ache.

No doubt he will be signing new players in January with an ability to drink large quantities of water, kick anything and everything that moves and feign injury in order to get their opponent red carded.

It looks very likely Rodney Parade is about to have another Rugby playing team on show.

I truly hope Westley takes Newport Back to Non League and beyond.

I'm with thad on this. Westley is often wrongly maligned. He's a very decent manager who sometimes plays an agricultural game. But he gets results which is exactly what Newport need.

In person and on the phone though he's as cordial as you can be. And he has a high regard for CTFC

good luck to Westley, I have no cross to bear with him, he does what he needs to do sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't

I am sure come the end of the season we will be well clear of the bottom 5 so anything Westley does will have no real bearing on our Season
