Well, after years and years of waiting, it's finally arrived, the trophy of trophies.

I predict, 3-2 to our beloved team.

COYR

I predict 956 in attendance.

I've lost track. Is this the equivalent of the paint pot trophy or league cup?

Three points for a win - One point for a draw...
..however, a penalty shootout will be held following a drawn game, with the winners of the shootout gaining an additional point.

i think colchester will have much better strength in depth. outside 6 or 7 players, ours aren't good. if we play full strength with them understrength then a draw, but i don't see us winning any penalty shoot out.

the other two games will be tough. charlton away no chance. southampton kids, no not at premership level. out of all of those, the experience of going to st marys will be the highlight i think.

Southampton have one of the best academies in the country but depends who they play. I think we have a chance at Charlton if (and it's a big if) we play like we did at Wolves. Colchester are a familiar rival which I think might go to penalties.

Are ticket prices the same as a league fixture? The website doesn't suggest otherwise, but I'd expect a reduced price for a glorified friendly.

The team that loses the shoot-out still gets the point for the draw.
