I think since the new owners took over, the website, content and communication with us lot, has been superb.

Well done to the new owners, Bruce Talbot and the club.

Just wish the website didn't show the score and highlights of our stuffing at home by Barnet, Bruce told me it would be removed when the new fixture list was published.

I fully agree, having attended a couple of meetings at the club it's good to see the management have been given a mandate to get on and run it using their discretion.

Ditto on the playing side, DD has a chance to build a squad without someone in the background playing the 'opta stats' game and without being lumbered with contracts from the John Gregory era.

We are now a few months in, things have moved on, it's a few years since I felt this optimistic going into a season.

It is refreshing... for far too long we had a state of paranoia at board and ownership level and an executive operating in straight-jackets... that isn't a criticism of the individuals, but of the culture which pervaded everything and inhibited genuine progress...

...a club like ours needs people to work together and engender a feeling of common purpose & community. We need that in place before we can begin our real mission... to win this town over...!
