I've heard such good things about this, not heard a bad word said about it.

Mr Ben was a classic
Just by going into a changing room, a whole adventure was born.
How about Trumpton, do you remember that ?
What were the firemen called ? |

There is a great TV show on sky 1 recently called Rovers
It's a comedy about a fictional non league football club and it's eclectic group of loyal supporters.
It stars Craig Cash , Sue Johnston ( both from Royle family ) and a couple of other faces you'll recognize ( a fat bloke from Stella and Joe Wilkinson from 9/10 Cats).
Its very funny.
Anyone seen it ?

It amazes me that these days people find the time to watch so many 'box sets'. It seems half the people I work with go home, watch TV, go to bed and that's all they have in their lives.
I'm more of a film man. They're longer but there's less commitment in the long term.
Other than that: documentaries, comedy, anything football, most sports, news. |

does anybody remember a badly dubbed French programme which was regularly on Childrens television in the 70's and early 80's about a French Garrison under attack in the French civil war, with two heroes who battled through to get re-inforcements ......... lots of swashbuckling sword play and muskets shooting ........ for the life of me I cant remember what it was called, can anybody help me out ? |
