I haven't been down to any matches yet this season and was wondering if the Car Park Charge came in to effect.

But it might be in force today. I'm walking so I can join with reds fans in the redz bar after the match to waatche England with a few beers. Why don't all factions get together under the Three Lions "umbrella" and have a good time?

Sure most people would be happier if it wasn't in a Majeed owned bar.

re the bar..... and this may seem a daft idea... take the running of it from the majeeds and run it independant but all profits to the club? then this way more use may be made of it...

i am aware of running costs, its an idea....

Don't worry Steve I'll be enjoying it, but not in Redz - in fact as far away from there as possible!

MY APOLOGIES TO ALL CONCERNED!

Just got back from watching England at a friends house and I am sorry about the wrong info.

I asked a couple of weeks ago about the parking fee situation and was told the idea had been dropped for the time being.
Sorry! Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Unfortunately for you, "the time being" appears to have been something less than a couple of weeks... Laughing

This is odd.

Price increases usually occur when there is pressure from demand on limited resources, ie the product becomes more valuable, or because of cost increases.

Now the car park costs the same (to the owners) as it always did and at the Northwich game it was as empty as I have ever seen it on a first-team match day.

So if there's less demand than in the past and no need to cover any extra costs, why have the economic wizards decided to further annoy the customers by charging those who are privileged enough to be let in? Confused

Because 90% of clubs charge to use their car parks and they've spotted a previously untapped revenue source that should have been tapped YEARS ago by the Dulys.

You can't moan about EVERYTHING they do Phil! Credit where its due. I'd just rather it was someone else doing the charging!

Sadly - because they can.

I wonder which account this will go into. Cool

Maybe they are trying to take more money so that next week it will only be the the Majeeds watching.

Do they want there own exclusive private matches do you think.
