Fancy us to get a draw but lose on penalties. 72 to witness it.
Maybe if we get a win there'll be another long-running ticket stub saga. Wink

We played really well against them towards the end of last season, apart from gifting the ball to their long range shot specialist. A tight game, probably a 2 - 1 to the posh.

Not bothered if we go out in this cup as long as they can give a good battling performance. For the first few matches its about getting a settled team. If we get something from this game then it's a bonus.

Probably lose, but it's no big deal. If we win then it's a nice bonus.

It's all about getting through to the third round and pulling out a trip to Anfield/Old Trafford/Stamford Bridge/WHL/Emirates and the 500k to 1m bonus that goes with it!

How Much A Team Can Make In Capital One Cup ?:

45% gate receipt for every home away match from Round 1 to Wembley Final
Part of broadcasting money to teams whose matches shown live on UK Time
100,000 for the winner of Capital One Cup
50,000 for the runnerups.
Europa League place for the winners or runner ups (in case winners qualified throught league system)

The prize money starts from the round 1 matches and it goes like that. FA will give winners of round 1 ties 5,000, round 2 winners get 7,000, winners of round 3 get 10,000, round 4 winners pocket 15,000 and semifinals winners get 25,000.

Gate splits look good, but the Runners up DON'T get a UEFA place as a result of being COCup R/U under any circumstances, and never have (they have removed that qualification route from the FA Cup now too - Who did Villa draw in the UEFA cup?).

Also, the FA won't be giving out anything as it's a Football league competition.
