John,do the honourable thing and step down today. We know you have a contract and are legally entitled to stay put and collect your wages, but really,do you feel comfortable taking money out of the club, especially in the current climate.
Are you going to hang around waiting for a pay off ?Do you honestly believe you deserve it?
You said at a fans forum last year how much you love this club, well, you have a chance to prove it. |

I doubt he needs the money. He's had his time here, it hasn't worked, so let's have a fresh start in League 2. |

I hope he has or will resign or have his contract cancelled, no way should we be paying him and Saunders at the same time, it's utter madness. Would like some answers and some clarity from the club on this matter. |

I woold hope the cub had insured against such instances like JG taking time out from duties, if not that smacks of further fiasco within te running of the club! |

Given he was about to be given the boot before he "stepped down" I doubt he's taking a salary now.
Any talk of him even remotely coming back is for show, as are the tweets he makes. |

Why would a young lion take out an insurance? |

You can get it, it is called - don't laugh - "Key Man" Insurance, not sure how expensive it is though (sorry, not my field). |

The right thing to do would be to step down now,DS has been left with JG and Dunfords mess, need to plan for league 2,not sure if DS is the man for the job,but JG needs to walk away now. |

According to Wikipedia this is JG's recent management record.
Derby 14 months and sacked
QPR 13 months and sacked
Maccabi 6 months and left (reason unknown, but they were relegated)
Ashdod 11 months and quit
Kairat 6 months and sacked
Crawley Town 13 months and stood down
Why on earth did we employ him? Did we advertise the role? What in his recent record made us think he was the man for the job?
What a total balls up.
I hope the club clarify his position before 'early bird' season tickets go on sale.
ps Kairat? Wear the fox hat? |

I certainly got the impression we are paying double bubble on the manager front. |

Given the amateur way our club is run, that wouldn't surprise me. |

I wonder if he'll be applying for the Aston Villa role now it's vacant? |

I don't go for their Gregory bashing. We have slashed budgets he has had a difficult task, it's not worked out...he has more serious issues to worry about. Give the bloke a break.
I seriously doubt if he had a choice he would have only retained two players from last years squad.
The directors are the ones who set budgets Dunford implements them and the manager works with it.
The fact two people are struggling with this squad tells it's own story. |

What makes you think the budget was slashed.?
On the 2nd Feb Chairman Dave Pottinger wrote this answer to the following question.
How does the current budget compare with previous seasons?
"The budget is more then when we won the conference, our promotion-winning season in league Two and our first in league One but slightly reduced compared to last season."
Can't see too much slashing going on. |
