Is this the same Paul groves that was your manager at the start of the season you got promoted before you replaced him with Eddie Howe and went from worst team in any league to...well rather decent and a great team to watch? |

He was absolutely dreadful during his time at AFC Bournemouth.
He was in charge of the side that were soundly beaten by yourselves before he got sacked and Eddie Howe marched us to promotion.

That is a possibility, you looked particularly dire that game at Crawley, with Tubbs an isolated and lost soul up front.
Mind he has coached at PL level (even if WHU did get relegated?). I think he has Derby in his background somewhere though, makes a change to Bury I suppose! |

Heard very poor reports from how the youth team was run under Groves as well.
Who knows as a coach, not in overall charge of anything, perhaps, maybe, he's ok. But I'm clutching at your straws for you here. |

Who knows if Tubbs has that view he may have passed that on to Dannie B, if the appointment of Paul Groves was already in the pipeline, causing DB to decide that he needed a new challenge? |

I remember that Bournmouth team when they played at the Broadfield. Probably the worse team we faced, their players were arguing amongst themselves on the pitch.
Eddie Howell transformed the team that went on to win promotion. |
