No. Start a new thread, or comment in the appropriate thread, and link to the original if you feel it is "relevant".

Bumping old threads is not acceptable.

If it's not a current thread it will confuse people. They will not look at the dates of the previous posts in the thread.

There are ways to refer to old posts without the need to bump something that is historic.

Was it really worth asking "Whatever happened to the Majeeds?" on a thread bumped from 6 years ago about a creditors meeting?

If you want imply some relevance to the thread on the searches post it there and link to the old post, as outlined above.

I'm sorry but that really doesn't wash with me - you would have to be pretty thick to be to be confused by a bumped thread particularly given the question in my post Rolling Eyes
