Last year I ran a poll for the best game of 2010/11 and it was very successful. Crawley Town vs. Derby County was the winner. So I'm doing it again with this season's selection.
I've got the games down to a shortlist of ten. It was tough getting it down to ten and there might be a game you want that isn't there, such is life.
It's been a rollarcoaster of a season, traumatic some might say. I think the games selected reflect that. How you base your decision is entirely your choice: the game, the circumstances, what it meant, personal reasons, the occasion, the weekend/evening etc.
Quite simply: what is your game of the season 2011/12?
The poll will run for 14 days and you WILL be able to see the voting graph as the poll is running.

Nine wins and a draw
Championship form that
Hull away. Quite simply the biggest team we have ever beaten away from home |

Voted hull because it was a great all round day out and we played brilliantly although I nearly went with Cheltenham at home based on entertainment value and how good it was to get a win after tubbs had gone |

Hull was amazing, nothing topped the emotion of beating a Championship side away and getting to the 5th Round again...
Until the Accrington game. So I had to vote Accrington for what it meant. |

I voted Cheltenham game. There were only a few out of that list I could get to. Looking back at that game, surely Watt shoul have started more games.
Oh and some superb goals aswell. |

Hull was high on my list, but that Cheltenham game had 6 goals, none of which were shabby.
It was a great win against a fellow top side and raised the mood of the supporters.
Thoroughly enjoyed it! |

I don't go to many away games but I was able to get to Kingston. very enjoyable to thrash a side I still consider to have small rivalry with. Just pipped the 4-2 win over Cheltenham. |

Hull City
To be in the KC stadium and witness Crawley outplay Hull was remarkable and totally unforgetable
Also, to see Tubbs score his last goal for Crawley and then watch him stand in the middle of the pitch on his own and clap the fans Lump in throat time |

Not trying to be a pain but the result at Bury was 2-0 I believe. Late side-foot shot by sub Doughty to make it two. |

You are of course correct.
There's no way of editing the polls. I don't know if the mods can step in here.
No worries, my mistake. |

I'm sure if you edit your original post, you can edit the poll? |

Nope, tried that.
I suppose that's fair enough. I could just change the result if I didn't like it that way! |

Hull was superb; going to a nice stadium, away from home to an in form team, pretty much a first team XI from Hull and beating them 1-0.
Brilliant day. |

Yes it has to be from Hull, Cheltenham (h) or Wimbledon (a). I wasn't at the Bury game.
Tough call. Probably not the Wimbledon game as three of the goals were gift wrapped rather than worked for.
I'm going for the Cheltenham game. |

Cheltenham for me - it was so much more than 90 mins of football
snow clearance gang to get the match on in the first place
freezing conditions
still so much to play for in the league at the time
cracking match
fabulous goals
great result |
