Nothing like it.
Happened other side of the pitch and Kuipers only got a yellow.
So, it was exactly the same only completely different.

Whats the relevance of the video Jason?

Kuipers was booked for handball, not that I thought he handled it...

It hit his elbow when he went down. Not deliberate, probably not a free kick, but if you look at our hand ball free kick earlier in the game, that shouldnt have been given either.

There is no such thing as accidental handball in the game of football apart from a small issue of gaining control of the ball by using your hand.

The referee called foul play aginst Kuipers because, in his view, Kuipers deliberately handled the ball (for what it's worth from my angle the shot hit his elbow). Handball is a yellow card offence. It can be increased to a red car if, in the opinion of the ref, it prevents a clear goal scoring opportunity.

In this instance the referee could not be sure the shot was going in as it was so far out so he probably made the correct decision.

Again for what it s worth I had a good view of the trajectory and I believe the shot was actually missing.

99% of refs would have sent Kuipers off and, to be honest, we could not complain.

Red card all day long.

We were very lucky.

Not that it mattered...

Except he would then have missed the next game. He was very lucky.

Agree with you

If it was their keeper who did that, we'd all have been screaming OFF OFF OFF ....

He was very lucky. However, we might have done better with 10 men after our Kingston performance a few weeks back Wink

That's a matter for debate. Given that performance will he play anyway?

I will trust the managers decision on this, and get behind whoevere is chosen at Accrington. Evans would have dropped him for the next game. One thing for certain, if picked we will get a passionate performance from MK, with plenty of shouting at our defenders.

Spot on Ian and also I think, I'm almost sure of it, that the elbow is between the shoulder and the fingertips and so since anything below the shoulder on the arm is "hand"ball in the laws I'm sure it was that as well. Very Happy
