Has rejoined the club on a 2 year deal according to Twitter. Would be a good choice to be captain IMHO given that he has captained a club in the Scottish Premier.

That sounds very interesting. I was sorry to see him go.
I just hope they employ due diligence (God, I hate that phrase) with his medical.

Great signing, a fit Conns is a very good player in League 1 remember, so he should be excellent in League 2.

We know what we're getting - a huge upgrade on Bradley both in footballing quality and captaincy ability.

Exactly the type of battler we need.

Get a 15 goal a season man (cough cough, Rhys Murphy) and I think we're well set for a good season - on paper!

Very good signing for us, I seem to remember that he was an accomplished player at L1 level so I'm sure he'll be a very big player for us in L2. Well done to the club for bringing him back!

Always gave a good account of himself for us, excellent news.

Actually, thinking about it, there really aren't that many of our ex players from the recent past that I'd welcome back... Mark is definitely an exception.

Agreed fully. Definitely should be captain.

Fantastic. I did have a slight hope of this when I heard he'd been released by Killie but never really thought it would happen. Welcome back Mark! Very Happy

Am I right in thinking that he left when we were tightening up on wages when offering new contracts?
I'm wondering if we've offered more or if he has moderated his requirements rather than risk being unemployed - though I reckon someone would have snapped him up.
I doubt we will ever know.

Not true Paul, some bloke in the post immediately prior to your last one, seemed to be suggesting that he left us previously, because he is a greedy money-grabber...? Wink

Great to see him back, looking in great shape too, not to mention younger looking than when he left us, in the interview below

Really good news. A quality player who captained Kilmarnock in the top Scottish Division for much of last season. Possibly the best signing of the summer. I agree with others - would be a good choice for captain of the club.
