I think they should have an L shaped bar. Back where it was but also extending up where the small bar is in the small part of the building. (Smaller bar, longer waiting time.) No wall and a new ceiling. Has anyone seen the state of the existing one?? |

Good call on Redz, needs to be a sports bar. Personally, never liked the old layout as the long trek to the bar did draw stares from the regulars for occasional visitors. That said, there must be so much beer in the pipes from the cellar to its present location no wonder it goes off! There appear to be a number of fans which are in the building trade that may be short of work at the mo, perhaps they could be persuaded to help if materials are provided. Maybe even do a contra deal if cash is short by giving free entry for the rest of the season? There is some goodwill out there.
Need to change before the world cup as I'm sure they're will be those who want to watch the games with mates without venturing into town. Could be a real money spinner.
Pool tables etc could be free of charge with the table owners taking a cut of the money generated or possibly the sc could fund taking the the cash out to repay and eventually generate income.
As for a repayment plan, 3 choices, outside administration which will incur either a fee or as stated interest. Other than that its standing orders (unreliable as they need to be set up by the payee) or dd. I think the club would struggle to get sponsorship to become dd orginators so it may be a case of finding a local bureau that would chip in processing foc. Obviously the club would have to manage any returns! |
