This poll is making one almighty assumption: that he should be sacked.

I, for one, would like him here for at least another season.

Did your attention span disintegrate before you even reached the first option?

He should never have been given the job in the first place.

A bizarre post from the man with an unusually small intellect.

Evans is a poor ambassador for the club, he is a matchday and media embarassment to many of the fans (myself included). His reputation preceded him and yet he does little to counter it, in fact repeatedly making statements that suggest his influence in non-football related business is greater than many people are comfortable with given his record for dishonesty.

That said, the club is (or at least should be) in a position to either deny the various rumours about his inappropriate involvement off the pitch and how much control he has. Their consistent failure to do so and continual use of him as a mouthpiece does not help him or them to win anyone over at a time when the club's probity is a publically stated priority of the board.

I'd be an awful lot happier with someone else in charge, yes.

Whether he should be sacked or not though is a business decision given the length of his contract. He is a PR liability, but the club cannot realistically afford to ditch him.

'Should be but won't be' gets my vote. [/b]

And obviously i'm not the only one who's daughter has been violated by Steve Evans Laughing

Two minor flaws in this argument are, 1. I am only 22 years old, and 2. I have no daughter.

Doesn't mean my argument is any less flawed than some others on here!
