I shouldn't! I'm not very welcome.

(A long time ago I asked them to apologise for the way they spoke to one of my friends, who at the time was also working for them for free - no such communication was forthcoming so I stopped doing stuff for them).

Tax Breaks? What's the point of the tax deductability of any Staff Entertaining, none of their businesses seem to pay any taxes, be it PAYE, National Insurance, Corporation Tax (If any of the SA Group have ever managed to file accounts showing any Profit Before Tax on which to base Profits chargeable to Corporation Tax aka PCTCT) or VAT.

Judging by this weeks local rags, they don't seem to be paying any Rates either.

I have absolutely no idea what Mark is talking about. If the SA group wish to hold a Christmas party for its staff then fine - it is not the staff's fault for what has happened at CTFC.

On a technical note Jane I think JB the PA and Phil A should have been invited, JB, although voluntarily, works for the Club and Phil's wife Jo does, I believe, still do some PR work and Matchday stuff. As my hubby, and other people's partners were invited, then Phil should have been too.

Well maybe the message about the party was not relayed to them in the same way it was not relayed to us, we only found out by chance!!!

So invites which weren't sent out. it was purely guess the fact we are having a party. Were only for staff!!
Because you work voluntarily you aren't staff then.

My name used to be on the programme as Matchday announcer / PA but not now.

As said before at least I can't be sacked just asked to leave.

No one received an actual invite. It was just on the off chance, the day before that someone found out about it.

That all staff were invited and asked if that included us.

Sounds like typical (poor) communication from the Majeeds to me.

Off the record an FA spokesman told me that wouldn't be allowed... there was no shortage of passion while he slagged off the club owners either!

And we would be 10 points closer to that if it weren't for the Majeeds.
