Does anyone have a definitive list.
Jordan Roberts has seemingly had his option taken up by the club. The way its going we will have same squad and same manager next year equals same results .
Someone will be telling me we resigned Harold next. |

There could be a very short list of CTFC management with a contract for next year if we continue the season with run of form we are displaying. Most likely there will be a new name on the contract any suggestions for the name. Problem is the new manager if there is one will inherit most of DD's losers. |

That is quite depressing seeing all the under performers on contracts next year. I assume the one year option is triggered by the club and not the player. Jordan Roberts confirmed he is here next year so his option must be triggerred . when do Com or Henderson sign until 2018 ? |

I've not looked at the others but this one stood out as being wrong. Conor only signed until the end of this season, with an option for another.

I though Payne only signed one year as well. Another who can't be added to get him self fit enough for league football. |

Nope, Payne signed a two-year deal when he joined.
All the information is on the official site if you use the search facility there. |

Gives us plenty of room for manoeuvre.
Harrold, Banton, Arthur, Blackman, Tajbaksh, Bawling, Yorwerth, Watt, Henderson can all be moved on. Young maybe.
I would also get Flapper on the list and hope for a taker so we can get a decent second keeper.
That could free up budget for 4/5 decent signings. It also depends what DD can do in the loan market but we need better quality than Davey/Beeney type people. |

These are my thoughts, however it only leaves us with 10 and i am not sure that's wise however all could be in the 1st eleven except Garnett and i would only keep him as i haven't seen enough of him to pass judgement.

Josh Payne – June 2018 - TRANSFER LIST
Mark Connolly – June 2018 - LOOK TO EXTEND ANOTHER YEAR
Enzio Boldewijn – June 2018 TRANSFER LIST
Jimmy Smith - - June 2019 KEEP
Matt Harrold - - June 2017 RELEASE
Jason Banton - June 2017 RELEASE
Jordan Roberts - June 2017 KEEP
Yusuf Mersin - June 2018 TRANSFER LIST OR CANCEL CONTRACT
Glenn Morris - June 2019 KEEP
Andre Blackman - June 2017 TAKE THE YEAR OPTION
Addison Garnett - June 2018 KEEP
Billy Clifford - June 2017 RELEASE
James Collins - June 2019 KEEP
Arjan Tajbakhsh - June 2017 RELEASE
Bobson Bawling - June 2017 RELEASE
Josh Yorwerth - June 2017 TAKE THE YEAR OPTION
Joe McNerney – June 2019 KEEP
Kaby Djalo - June 2018 LOOK TO ADD AN EXTRA YEAR

Agree with most of your choices except Connolly and Yorwerth for me they are both loose cannons responsible for too many goals and penalties. |

I would be playing Connolly on the right and Yerwerth in the DC role i would line up like the below. A quality LB can then cover any potential mistakes from Yerwerth as McNerney will
Yerwerth will get better with game time he needs a decent run in the team
Morris
Connolly McNerney Yerwerth ??????? |

I agree Connolly could do a job at R/Back but I have been suggesting Smith go there as I don't think he is good enough in midfield. For me Garnett is a better proposition than Yorwerth in the few games and friendlies I have seen him in he has impressed me and I would like to see him given a chance.A few people have suggested Yorwerth in a midfield role I wonder if he could do the Matt Harrold job,he is brave and when he does get forward he carries the ball well and has an eye for goal.Just a thought! |
