Not sure if there is an issue training on 3g injury wise but could make an ideal training ground . Right on A24.

Opposite park and ride in fact - Playing at Lancing next season.

But I doubt they would want Crawley muscling in...

Not so sure .Crawley would need it during the day , no issues over wear and tear . 70k a year rent or similar would be attractive income for Horsham. Four changing rooms and catering on site.

15 minutes drive from our ground.

The 3g opposite Crawley is in a poor state, as it is badly maintained. Playing on 3G/4G is very different from grass, I beleive you are more prone to impact injuries, as there is less give in 3g to grass.

Good training for maybe part of the season, not good if you need to play on poor pitches, then you need to train on grass. 3g would be good for fitness and basis ball work.

You need to train on the same surface for actual ball control and getting used to play for match fitness.

Sadly if they'd tried to build anything bigger the council wouldn't have allowed it. The club had to shrink the facilities after the original plan for the same site was refused.
