I think we should all try and be positive about this (if it happens)?
Something had to happen, the club as it is slowly dying, we all know it even if some of us find it hard to admit, and if it means we see the back of Dunford, happy days as far as I am concerned!

i think we just have to wait and see - some know more than others but we will only know the true facts when the dust settles

There are plenty of Syrians now in Europe. I am not concerned about there nationality as long as they are honest people who have Crawley Towns interests at heart and respect our football traditions.

Most of the famous clubs in this country are owned by Russians , Saudis or Chinese . It's a small world. I never know why Crawley fans are so precious.

I say welcome them with open arms if they are investing. The FL' job is to asses if there is any pediment to anyone taking control.

Sounds promising. Something needs to change and if true, it could reignite interest in the club.

Agree with this with the obvious caveat that it is merely a rumour at his stage. The timing seems odd though with the transfer window about to close. Surely a prospective investor would want to be sure that we have what we need to stay in the football league?

Is there not another loan window after the transfer one closes?

Should be another window for emergency loans after this window closes if I'm not mistaken?

Ben

True, I think we did the same with Gary Alexander.

I think you are right. There is a loophole here too. It is possible to sign players as emergency loans, with a view to those players becoming permanent next season. Peterborough did this when they signed Tyrone Barnett from us IIRC.

Existing board have been dreadful. I trust part of takeover deal includes honouring that free game supporters were promised. Pointless announcement by club as its subject to things out of their control. Might as well say Rooney might be playing next month......wayne not luke!!!

Well it certainly created a bit of interest today... The game was bad, but the terrace banter was brilliant, bang on cue I heard a cracking rumour about a prospective owner... Question ..nothing ever really changes, but it is never dull following our team...!

At least we would end up with a few more shots on target.
