Very enjoyable. A glorious afternoon, and a great Jenkins goal. There was a ringer at centre back (Bridges academy?), and a goalie who I didn't know (Chapman I think). Andy Little was on the cycle event in London. Hawthorne, Judge, Kember, Payne, Gregory, Sargeant, Wormall, Jenkins, Harkin all played. A number 9 was a second half sub - no idea who it was.

While the pace of the game was a tad sedate, there was a lot of good football from both sides.

As for Jenkins finish, you would not see many better in any league anywhere.

Sloth indeed one ringer was used a Crawley fan who is also the captain for Three Bridges Academy as Jay Lovett pulled out less than an hour before KO.

Ian Chatfield played for Crawley 20 years ago and had a blinding game it must be said.

As for everyone who came to watch we hope you enjoyed it and thanks to everyone a 4 figure sum will make its way to the hospice !!

The boys who played and Steve Duly and Vines loved it and without doubt will be back for another game.

It was a bit slow, but in that heat I wasn't really surprised.

My apologies chaps - had to attend a family meal at Rowfant house - 90th birthday (not mine) celebration - and was too tempted by drinks & music on the lawn afterwards.... highly recommended if you fancy a lazy Sunday as it's on every week in the summer...

...but by the time we set off for Three Bridges I was less than compos mentis and it looked well & truly over when I got there... I dunno.... back in the day the sesh would only just about have got going at that stage...!
