If we take more than the 29 or so to Port Vale a couple of seasons ago I'll be surprised! Unlike that game and last season I won't be there.

I am busily searching for potential customers in the Morecambe area to visit. Really disappointed with the lack of northern midweek away games this season.

If anyone wants a cheap comfortable hotel in Morecambe for the evening let me know and I will put you in contact with them - its unlikely that we will arrange any specific transport to this game especially as we have another overnight stop on the following Saturday at Hartlepool. Will be interesting what the club do - stay up in the North/Lake district for the 4 days before the Hartlepool match. Might even do that myself Exclamation

Pies, lovely pies.

I close my eyes and see Wasmer doing the same (not all his fault though).

But the trip's worth it for the pies.

Bit surprised by the sniping and back biting on here

I would suggest that anyone who goes to Morecambe on a Tuesday night in October is a very dedicated supporter and should be applauded by us lot on this forum.

Correct me if I am wrong

I've just re-read the whole thread and I can't see any sniping or back biting going on at all. Just a couple of jokey comments which have obviously passed you by. Rolling Eyes

Spot on Northgate, I would love to go to Morecambe, but leaving work at 5pm doesn't give me the time to get there.

Perhaps a list, rather than humour, would have been better?

"Anyone who goes to Morecambe on a Tuesday night is unemployed, taking holiday, taking a day off, off shift, living up north, working up north, or a combination of these."

Yes, but then that list doesn't have any comedic value. Sad

Anyone else remember the late sixties/early seventies hairy progressive rock ensemble "Family"...?

hippy2

They would wait until Leicester City FC had published their fixture schedule for the season and then arrange their UK touring itinerary around it..!
