With 7 games to go and the 3rd worst goal difference in the league how many points do you think we will need to finish outside the bottom 4?
Lee Fowler mentioned after the game against Gillingham that 2 wins should be enough. I disagree. No one has ever been relegated from League 1 with 52 or more points. I think this will be the year that someone goes down on that tally and with our goal difference I think we will need more than 52 points.
It's tough to call but, apart from Yeovil and possibly Colchester, everyone else in and around the drop zone loos capable of hitting or exceeding 50 points. This could be a freak season. A bit worrying that Crewe are the only ones with a worse goal difference (I'm ignoring Yeovil as I assume they are down) and we've no hope of overhauling anyone else's. I don't think 50 will be enough points this season. 52 should be the bare minimum target and even that may be short.
