wow what a game where do you start?

I thought the ref was very poor gave far to many free kicks their way but boy it didnt get our players down at all, instead maybe helped them?

We defended as a team, passed the ball like a top of the table side at times, every player fought for the cause getting stuck in and helping out there team mates.

Lewis Price had a cracking save in the first half at 0-0 then after that we came right back into the game and what a finish from Izale

We bossed the midfield when we needed too, Fowler may well be a real gem his touch and passing today was fantastic.

Izale and Pogba could make one hell of a partnership with the former now our record goal scorer in a league season i believe?

My MOM was obviously Izale but Lewis Young i thought was a very close 2nd, i think he may have just found his natural position?

Every player that stepped onto the pitch played for the shirt, themselves, the gaffer but mainly for us fans

I cant wait for Swindon now, play like that and we can take them apart, the only worry for me is we wont have ward available so Leacock needs to get fit quickly.

The big difference today?

When we were forced to lump it forward we had someone who could compete with the centre backs and not only win the ball but keep control of it too. But it's not only the winning that matters it's the prevention of the ball coming straight back. It means we had time to regroup and push forward. Pogba made a big difference.

My take on it too. Pogba looked like what we've been missing up front. If he had managed to stay on for the full 90 I would have MOM'd him in spite of McLeod's exploits. I just hope that the knock doesn't keep him out because someone like that in the team could yet make the difference about staying up or not.

Impressive result against 12 men.

How do you split the MOM between Izale & Fowler? Heaven only knows.

Decided to go for Fowler as he made all the difference in the end. Another Thomas Pinault?

So where are those 6 wins coming from? Colchester away, Orient and gillingham home. Crewe away, notts county and Coventry home. The rest is a bonus!

We need more then 6 wins.48 points wont be enough, especially with our poor goal difference.I think 54 points will be needed, that means finding 24 points from 45,a really tough ask that.

We will certainly need more than 48 points if the bottom sides perform like yesterday. I can't see us winning more than 6 games so picking up bonus draws here and there will become important.

Looking through the fanzone pics, I can't help thinking you've got the disc mixed up with another teams game.
The fans looked happy.

There is undoubtedly still a massive mountain to climb but at least yesterday we all got to enjoy football once again.

Fowler has transformed the midfield in one game and McLeod got what all his hard work all season has deserved.

If we can go to Swindon and get something that would be a massive plus.

Awful referee but I think we’ve got used to that now.

Hopefully Pogba’s injury isn’t too bad. Walsh’s actions against Doncaster look utterly reckless now. Fortunately Bradley played really well so hopefully he can keep that up.

Price – 8 – One brilliant save and confident handling throughout the game

Young – 6 – You can’t fault his hard work yesterday but definitely not a right back

Dickson – 6 – He was good defensively but didn’t offer much going forward

Ward – 7 – A really solid pro, a really good addition to the squad

Bradley – 8 – A robust performance, replacing Walsh brilliantly and popped up with a goal

Elliott – 7 – He kept running throughout and a cracking headed finish

Fowler – 9 – He did the right thing on the ball each and every time and has a brilliant delivery. What a player he should have been – hopefully his swansong is at Crawley

Edwards – 7 – He worked really hard but still doesn’t look 100% since the op

Wordsworth – 7 – Very skilful on the ball and not afraid to mix it either

Pogba – 8 – Played down the middle and Barnsley just could not cope with his power and pace

McLeod – 9 – Our best player this season. Terrific attitude and a real eye for goal. A Robben-like finish for the third

Tomlin – 6 – He put himself about well but definitely not like-for-like with Pogba

Morgan – N/A – Some nice touches, definitely didn’t look out for his depth

Smith – N/A – I don’t think he gave the ball away once which is progress. Did some nice pointing though

Are the fans who went to the Doncaster game going to get our money back too?

The only thing I would want to see, and I know it may seem churlish seeing he got a hat-trick, is for Mcleod not to take an age to get back onside. He seems to take forever to get back onside which normally means play has to be held up or he gets flagged again.

Also I wish I'd had a girlfriend earlier in life who'd go down as easily as Mcleod does, no wonder he gets next to nothing. He did it directly in front of my bit twice yesterday and I honestly wasn't sure whether it was a sudden gust of wind that took him down or something else, it definitely wasn't an opponent. It's a shame as his game doesn't need it.
