Unchanged again.
Price; Oyebanjo, Dickson, Walsh, Ward; Young, Smith, Elliott, Edwards; Wordsworth, McLeod.

Unchanged for 3rd successive game.

I can't moan its what I wanted. I think consistancy may be the only way these guys will gel as a team.

Great result. A lot of effort went into today as at against MK Dons. The win was very sweet.

Second half we had some great chances and thought we had blown it. But a thrilling final goal. We are starting to put players on the out pitch with some experience. They were better than us but we also looked in control. McLeod had two great chances . OB hit the bar and Dickson struck a sweet free kick. More action on goal than for a long time.

Th biggest thing is the fight and effort the team put in it gives us some hope. New striker announced on Monday.. My guess is Chopra. There is still life in us yet.

Blimey - Fowler and Chopra?. We'd have more baggage than Samsonite.

Much better performance today. Started slowly, but the goal gave us a boost and we got stuck in and disrupted Prestons passing. We were deservedly ahead at half time.

Second half Preston came out fired up and when they scored the equaliser I feared the worst. However, we rallied and were positive for once, had a few chances and deservedly got the winner with a terrific strike from Fowler who has made me eat my words Embarassed

Hopefully, this will be a turning point and we can show that effort and positivity in the games coming up. We're a bit closer to escaping the drop zone today and we maybe alright if we keep that level of performance up.

Nice to see the fans jubilant at the end, the win was long overdue.

We need to repeat that level of effort or today counts for nothing.

Could well turn out to be a season changing result. Really impressed by Wordsworth slotting in behind the front man. hopefully Izale will have some competition soon - we need it. Defensive unit is getting stronger. Midfield is our achillies heel but I liked the look of our finishing midfield with Fowler adding composure. Bawling has had a bashing but he is a sprightly, hard working right midfielder - I'd put him ahead of lewis young. A quick follow up win and who knows where momentum could take us.

I think Saunders is being astute bringing in people he knows will do it for him. I reckon Saunders may just do it you know.....he is a character and is drawn to characters, he may just shuffle the deck and find a formula to keep us up.

It will be the biggest achievement in his managerial career in my view ..given where we are . You can't knock his signings they both got goals and won the bloody game.

I am very surprised that Keith Keane is not part of the PNE line up.

On their performance today, I think they may have got something from the game if he played.
