Sadly for humanity the sight of middle aged men wearing Chelsea shirts stretched over their enormous stomachs is with us for many years to come.
Every time i see one of these tossers in public i want to smash their faces in. |

Then again, they are meant to be a warm up for the main event. The League.
Just a chance to give ALL the players (and a few possibles) a run out .... |
Strange. This post answered RRR's - but now appears before it ??

Who says Fulham will only be bringing a youth team? |

Predictable ?
Nah.
It is like his usual ones. The same post he did for the last few seasons.
In fact, all his posts are the same - just pasted again and again.
Nothing new here - move along .....

I like pre season friendlies as they break up the summer and it's always nice to watch footy in good weather.
BUT, the key is getting the price right.
Fans know its not a fully competeive match, therefore they don't expect to pay the same price as a real cup or league match.
I don't know what the prices are but I hope they are reasonable |

I do think that £10 (or £12 if West Stand) is too much for a glorified training session. I reckon a fiver is more like it. |

Chelsea website confirms that their game is only their U21 squad.
As the first team are playing Werder Bremen on the 3rd August it's pretty unlikely that we'll see any names at all that we've ever heard of. |

Matt Tubbs scored 1 of the 2.
Why do Wimbledon get a first team and we get kids? No point playing it IMO. |

The saddest thing being, a few years ago, Thad, myself and I seem to recall Lochislair were handing flyers out in town advertising the CTFC v Chelsea PSF on that afternoon (amongst other things). Not one of the Chelsea wearing tossers given a flyer, actually knew their team were in their local town playing that day!
Totally sad. |

How would they be expected to know about the game if it was not shown on Sky sports. |

And furthermore... not one of the ignorant swine adorned in Man Utd shirts believed me when I said that we'd be playing them at Old Trafford in the FA Cup that season.... in fact they laughed at me....
..I hope they choked on their dorritos six months later when the last sixteen draw was made...!
