i tried to send a couple of pms last week but each time they seemed to spend an eternity in my Outbox, eventually i deleted most of them. Is this likely to be a problem with my software at home / in the office or could it be a prob with my account ?

They stay in your Outbox until the other person reads them. Once read they move to your Sentbox.

If a PM is in my outbox and I realise I made a mistake and delete the PM from my outbox - is it still delivered to the recipients inbox?

I get that a PM stays in the outbox until it is read by the recipient, then moves to the sentbox. I just wonder about deleting items from the outbox before they are read?

I've done a test and it seems a PM does get delivered to the recipient's Inbox, but if you delete the PM from your Outbox (ie they havent read it yet) it will also get deleted from the recipients Inbox. Cool
