Kewell was a fine player, but I know nothing about his managerial or coaching credentials. It strikes me as a very risky appointment, although I wish him well of course.

I must confess that I wo ...

Stevenage seem to be one of those sides that either blow hot or cold with little in the middle. Shame for them that the final part of the season coincided with some of their more arctic moments.

Refreshing. So good to feel and hear a feel good factor back at the Broadfield, even if it was only a draw. Excellent to have thrown off the yoke of the Drummy era and to play with some vitality and ...

It had to happen and I am pleased that it has happened. Interesting timing too, with season ticket renewal season just around the corner.

In all honesty there was no other option. His persistent ...

I agree that a new manager would suffer from the significant restriction or constraint in the form of the number of players remaining on contract. New managers like to bring in their own players. I ...

It's an unusual situation to have so many players retained for next season if not longer. Normally it might imply a degree of stability on which to build. Conversely it can be strongly argued that b ...

Decent game and a spirited draw. Points shared was probably about right. However, the late season entertainment value does not conceal what was another very poor defensive performance. I thought Ca ...

If the best we can hope for each season is that 'we probably won't go down', or that hopefully there will always be at least two teams even worse than us, its not really a great endorsement of what is ...

It's not being a whingeing lightweight to be highly critical of a team that is composed of players Drummy brought to the club, which has played so poorly for virtually the entire season, that has not ...

Probably the worst game I have seen Crawley play for six or seven years. We were absolutely dire. Only one shot on goal (that I can remember) against one of the other worst teams in the Division. N ...

But a 'work in progress' must show significant steps forward over the course of a whole season surely? 50 or so games on I am not sure that the team is any better than it was at the beginning of the ...

Reason for qualified optimism? I don't think so. The team is very poor (just look at the league table) and it has not improved at all since the beginning of the season. Tactically we are predictabl ...

Young should only be retained if he is to play wide right in the midfield. He is a liability at full back. In fact we certainly need new full backs on both sides as left back has clearly been an Ach ...

All this ludicrous talk about a 'Project' annoys me. Its no good saying yes we have been really poor for the whole of this season but stick with us because we have a 'Project'. Its just nonsense.
